Fluid Recycling Systems

Coolant Recycling Systems represent the state-of-the-art in coolant
recycling and benefit directly from Master Chemical Corporation's more
than twenty years experience in coolant recycling -- more experience
and more systems in operation than all the others combined. After all,
Master Chemical invented coolant recycling.
Portable XYBEX®
systems are available in single and double compartment configurations.
In the single-compartment system, the Yellow Bellied Sump Sucker pumps
dirty coolant, chips, and fines from the machine tool sump and through
a filter removing the solids. With the solids removed, the fluid is
returned to the sump and the machine tool resumes production. Then,
filtered fluid can be centrifuged to remove tramp oils in a side stream
operation while the machine tool is operating.
With the new, double compartment portable XYBEX®
system, machine sumps are emptied and vacuumed into one side of the
system. Clean replacement fluid, available from the clean product
storage compartment of the system, is used to refill the machine
immediately and return it to production. As soon as the machine tool is
back on-line, the centrifuge can be started, transferring the retained
fluid from the dirty product side to the clean side. As the fluid
passes through the centrifuge; solids, tramp oils, and other extraneous
oils are removed from the metalworking fluid, leaving only clean,
oil-free, recycled coolant on the clean side of the machine. The
portable XYBEX® system then can be wheeled to the next machine tool for tank side fluid recycling.

XYBEX® Custom Systems
XYBEX®Custom
Systems, a spin-off of the 1000 system, is a complete, full capacity
single product coolant recycling system. The system usually shares the
same operation and layout as the 1000. However, tank capacities and the
centrifuge are altered to meet customer's needs.
Application:
For plants operating with one coolant, the Custom Systems capacities
can be enlarged to meet sump capacities of the larger metalworking
plants.

XYBEX® System 750

System 750 is a full-featured recycling system, which includes a
high-speed centrifuge to allow complete recycling of any stable
metalworking coolant.

Recycling System
The Yellow Bellied Sump Sucker is fast! In a typical example, a cylindrical
grinder sump with 120 U.S. gallons (454 liters) of coolant and 700 pounds
(318 kilograms) of sludge was completely cleaned, the coolant filtered,
and returned to the sump in ten minutes.

The business was formed in 1986 by a group of filtration professionals
with extensive experience in the application, design and manufacturing of
industrial filtration equipment. Our years of application experience combined
with our comprehensive product line enable us to offer practical solutions to
our customers in the metalworking industry.
Starting with the successful introduction of our parented Star Filter® Technology in 1992 and now with the
introduction of our 2XF Dual Element Permanent Media Vacuum Filter in 2006,
for which we have applied for patent protection. Hydroflow continues to lead
the industry with technology and innovation.
The new 2XF FILTER® is a versatile, adaptable, economical
vacuum element filtration system. With its simple but rugged construction,
automatic operation, easy removal dual element, the 2XF® offers the best in filtration
efficiency and serviceability.
In 2005, the business was purchased by The Andersons, Inc. of Maumee,
Ohio (NASDAQ). Hydroflow’s relationship
with The Andersons dates back to 1992, and coincided with our introduction of
the Patented Star Filter®
Systems. Anticipating an increasing demand for large Star Filter® Systems, Hydroflow began a search for
a skilled and well established fabricator to help us meet that growing
demand. This search led us to The Andersons, Inc. Since 1992 The Fabrication
Division has produced dozens of Vacuum and Star Filter® systems. We welcome prospective and
existing customers to visit our manufacturing facilities in Maumee,
Ohio at any time to discuss specific
applications, make construction progress inspections, or witness filter
